About Me
Born and raised in Cumbria,
I am a lover of being in the
peace and quiet and particularly love the escape my
little camper van brings me.
I now live in Newcastle upon Tyne where I have settled to develop my passion and aim to help others, through my counselling practice.
My passion for counselling was sparked completing a counselling module on my Psychology degree at Northumbria University.
Following this I finished an Introduction to Counselling course at the University of Cumbria and knew this was my career calling.
I completed my post graduate diploma in 2018 and later
graduated with my
Counselling / Psychotherapy Masters degree in 2019.
I have since gained experience working in secondary education, the mental health charity Mind
and higher education at a local University's Student
Wellbeing Service where I worked for 4.5 years. I also since the start of 2022 have worked alongside the charity Victim Support, supporting clients experiencing traumatic bereavement.
I created and ran a local university's first bereavement and loss workshop for university students.

Since qualifying in 2018 I have over 2250 hours of experience.
